AS AN INSTITUTION OF CULTURE OF NATIONAL SIGNIFICANCE, the Museum of Serbian Theater Art witnesses to the development of the Serbian theater from the 13th century to date. It is located in Božićeva, in the edifice in Jevremova Street, which itself is a cultural monument. The fund comprises archived items, letters, manuscripts, posters, photographs, sketches, costumes, audio and video records, books, press clips, and memorabilia significant for scientific research studies or amateur studying classical drama, opera and ballet arts as well as new multimedia scenic forms. The webpage www.mpus.org.rs displays the data about the exhibitions, promotions and diners held, and within the online Teatroslov database, apart from the digital collections, there are electronically available exhibitions and full-text museum publications. Entrance is free. The Gallery works from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm. On Saturdays, it works from 9 am to 2 pm for scheduled group visits.
